CSAP Communiqué: issue 3 is out

The Child Safety Action Plan Communiqué brings you up-to-date with developments in the CSAP project.

Issue 3 (Jul, Aug, Sep)

In this issue of the Child Safety Action Plan (CSAP) Communiqué we provide you with ongoing updates on the project including: the Leadership, Infrastructure and Capacity (LIC) Assessment, the CSAP indicator sets and the Good Practice Guide development. We also introduce two other outputs of the CSAP project, the directory of child safety practitioners and researchers and work being done to assess the feasibility of a burden of child injury study for Europe. We also update you on the CSAP Communications Strategy including providing guidelines for abstracts/ publications relating to the CSAP project, and take a look at what the next 6-10 months of the CSAP workplan will hold.

Issue 2 (Apr, May, Jun)

In issue 2 we provide you with updates on the CSAP project including: the Leadership, Infrastructure and Capacity (LIC) Assessment and the development of the CSAP indicator sets and Good Practice Guide. We also cover other groups working toward the CEHAPE goals and talk about efforts to share information about the project nationally and internationally. We provide an update on how the eighteen participating countries are doing and provide highlights from the Country Partners Meeting in Madrid. We provide information on the communications tools now available for use in your country and take a look at what the next six months of the CSAP workplan for 2005 will hold.

Issue 1 (Jan, Feb, Mar)

In issue 1 you will find information on the following: a review of the project participants, what we will accomplish, where and when the project will take place, what are partner roles and responsibilities, why it is such an important project. The first steps for Country Partners and an overview of the work plan for 2005 are also covered.
