Highlighted: Hot Drinks Harm short film

ECSA would like to applaud the North Bristol NHS Trust who created this very short and effective film to increase awareness of burn injury risks to young children. According to their press release, burn injuries caused by coffee or tea cause 40% of admissions to the South West UK Children's Burn Centre at Frenchay Hospital, and most victims are very small children.

Every day across England and Wales 180 children are hospitalized with burns from hot drinks. Overall, burns and scalds are the fifth leading cause of injury death to children in Europe.
